I was going through my photos the other day. I had such a back log it was ridiculous. I discovered what I think is a bit of a gem amongst them. Its actually taken by my anaesthetist! With a bit of cropping and editing I think it turned out fairly well!
So here is my husband and I meeting our newest addition for the first time in the operating theatre! I think its a great photo. What do you think?

He’s a natural. Little W can make a stage from anything and knows how to create drama.

One of the great things about a new baby is the inevitable desire to photograph every thing that happens and every detail to remember forever.
From a photography perpective it has renewed my desire to look for interesting images and shapes to capture. I found myself sitting with little “E” and watching the goings on around me. I may only have my Galaxy and Snapseed but its enough to get a few good, or at least interesting, images a day.
Here is one of little “E”.
He is so tiny at the moment. I want to remember that detail forever, it will last such a short time.
Another random photo.
I took of my older son W. He was dressed up as a fairy doctor and something in the composition of this photo appealed to me. Its a rubbish photo without the filter but it becomes abstract enough with it to focus on the composition over the content.
A different jetty. This time I had to zoom. This is the extent of my zoom. I was a million miles away. I was impressed that it still produced a clear image that froze the jumpers.
Here are another few of the photos I have been taking recently in Waikerie in the Riverland. This jetty got quite a workout in the 2 hours I was at the riverfront for lunch! Probably because it was a GLORIOUS day! Perfect for a bit of nothing.
