Tonight I went out a bit later. About 1/2 and hour later. I walked to 4 different locations in close proximity to each other. Varying results again. The sun drops so fast. I suppose that should be taken into consideration when thinking out the plan. I also think that the amount of sunlight getting into my camera is causing it to struggle to focus?? An additional thought: baby’s are hungry, tired and not into sitting for portraits at golden hour. I will need more experiments. These are from tonight’s haul.
Cute 🙂
Thanks!
I live in the East Coast and as of right now the best light for me has been between 7am and 8am as well as 5:30 to 6:30. We have done about 6 portrait sessions in the last two weeks during these times and I love the images we were able to capture.
In South Australia we are about to move into our summer day light saving time so my best evening time is now 6:30-7:30/8ish. Its getting pretty late for babies. I might have to stick to babies in shade 🙂 Sun is coming up around 5am so tomorrow that will be 6am which is more reasonable, but still not all that practical for babies 🙂 Happy to hear you are enjoying your work. I am still not happy with the photos I am taking so its practise, practise, practise for me!
